The South Korean government plans to set a date for the next round of working-level talks on the Gaeseong Industrial Complex and cross-border tours AFTER the Lunar New Year holiday this weekend.
Officials from the two Koreas held their last round of talks on Monday in the border city of Gaeseong that ended with no agreement on the resumption of the tours.
As for military talks aimed at discussing rules governing cross-border transit, customs clearance and communications networks in the joint industrial park South Korea says it will go ahead with its plans to hold the meeting later this month but has yet to inform the North on the exact date of the pending talks.
