There's a significant shift in attitude toward marriage underway in Korea these days.
More and more Koreans are saying there's no real need to tie the knot.
New data shows more than four out of ten Koreans don't consider marriage something a person HAS to do.
Just six years ago, less than a third of Koreans had the same view.
The survey, conducted by Statistics Korea, also found that 47 percent of Koreans would be willing to live with their boyfriend or girlfriend something that would have been looked down upon just a couple of decades ago.
Three-quarters of respondents also said the process of getting married is just too stressful-- not to mention the financial expenses of a nice wedding ceremony.
