Korea no longer has the fastest peak Internet connection speed in the region.
That title, apparently has now moved over to Hong Kong.
U.S. based cloud services provider Akamai Technologies says, Korea's average peak connection speed reached just over 72 megabits per second in the second quarter of this year.
That puts it behind Hong Kong, which recorded an average speed of nearly 74 megabits per second.
Peak connection speed is an average of the fastest connection speeds per user.
Korea however maintained its place at number one in terms of overall Internet connection speed.
