Korean women these days may be changing their views on marriage.
According to a survey by the Seoul metropolitan government
Four out of 10 women in Seoul say they consider marriage an option and not a requirement.
This compares sharply to the 28 percent of men who view marriage as optional.
The survey also shows that women in Seoul are getting married later as well.
The average age at which women get married comes in at 30.4 years last year up almost five years from 20 years ago.
Nearly half of Seoul women aged between 25 and 39 were single as of 2010, a big jump from about 20-percent in 1995.
