It's a brand new week and what a way to start it off here in Korea! A monsoon front will be controlling the weather up until about Wednesday. The central regions will be cloudy tomorrow with occasional showers lasting into the afternoon. The southern regions will stay wet a bit longer until the late afternoon. We have heavy rain advisories for South Gyeongsang Province and Jeju Island, so do take the necessary precautions.
Seoul's actually the drier one out of the bunch with a 21 to 28 degree range. The rest aren't as lucky with cooler highs in the low to mid 20s.
Daejeon with a wet afternoon to reach 27, while Jeju Island's 3 degrees cooler at 24. The Dokdo islets along with Mt. Geumgang staying mainly overcast with a high of 22.
Beijing's breaking the norm with lots of sun. We have a cloudy and rain day for Tokyo, while lots of thunder activity will take place elsewhere. Islamabad and New Delhi with isolated thunderstorms in the high 30s, as well as southeast Asia in the low 30s like usual.
Perth's staying stormy into this week as well, with some gusty winds to top things off at a cool 6 to 15 degree range. Melbourne and Wellington also looking pretty gray. The latter has chilly temperatures at a notch below 10 degrees.
More rain and thunder in North America
Although Vancouver is set for a sunny week, Montreal won't be as clear, hitting 26. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms for the east coast, with a 30% chance of rain for Chicago at 23 for the high.
Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo have cleared up to be nice and sunny for Tuesday. Santiago still has a 60% chance of afternoon rain with some chilly readings at 1 to 11. Lima and Buenos Aires have a few clouds in the high teens.
Europe's looking a lot clearer. Moscow at 12 to 24, northwestern Europe's in the high 20s, and Madrid's at 36 degrees. Berlin still has some rain and thunder left though at 26.
For Africa, we're looking at a mostly sunny Tuesday. Addis Ababa's breaking this trend with periods of rain and even possible thunder lasting throughout most of this week. A lot of the highs will be climbing into the 30s, so do try to stay cool.
And that wraps things up for tonight. See you same time tomorrow.
