Pain-killing drugs that can cause blood-related complications will be banned to people under 15 years old.
The Korea Food and Drug Administration announced such a policy after examining the substance known as IPA that is widely used in pain-killers. Although the KFDA says that there were no health and safety violations found the drug administration says it is taking precautionary measures as countries such as Canada and the United States ban the drugs for children between 7 and 15.
IPA is widely found in a number of analgesic drugs.
