'The Worst Man of My Life' & Others

Time now to get a check of new movies out this week.
There are two romantic comedies, one from Korea, the other from Hollywood, plus a war movie.
Lee Jeewon has this preview.

What do you do when you find your love at first sight, a day after you're married?
That's what happens to a couple of newlyweds who've been friends for 10 years.
Starring well-known actors Yeom Jeongah and Tak Jaehoon, this romantic comedy is a cheerful depiction of the couple's feelings.
But movie critics say occasional scenes intended to be funny get in the way of relating to the characters.

Next up is another romantic comedy.
The main character Kate, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones, is a top chef in New York.
Her life, which revolves around work, changes after her sister dies and she must care for her niece.
While adjusting to the new lifestyle, Kate meets Nick, whose philosophy on life and cooking affects her own outlook.
While the storyline is rather predictable, pictures of scrumptious food make up for the weak story.

Last on our list is the story of a group of 38 American volunteers who joined the allied forces during World War I.
They were trained under the command of a French captain and the leadership of an American veteran.
The movie ''Flyboys'' shows scenes of aerial combat, known as dogfights, between the Americans and Germans.
But some Arirang viewers may have seen this movie as it was released in the U.S. last September.
