The blockbuster monster film "The Host" is enjoying huge popularity both at home and abroad.
The movie's producers say tickets for the hit were sold out at the summer showcase of the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
"The Host" is also expected to receive rave reviews in Scotland.
At this year's Edinburgh Film Festival, all seats are reserved for Wednesday's screening.
Directed by Bong Joon-ho, "The Host" portrays the struggle of an ordinary family trying to rescue their youngest member from a giant mutant monster that appears from Seoul's Han River.
The movie has sold more than eight million tickets in Korea, and should break the ten-million mark next week.
