According to the latest report by G-f-K a research institute based in Germany Samsung's on-year market share moved up 5.3 percentage points to 25 percent in January. Nokia took up 35 percent of the pie. Samsung also edged out Nokia to take the number one spot in the United Kingdom for that month.
