This Year Marks the 30th Anniversary of former President Park Chung-hee's Death

A memorial service was held today marking the 30th anniversary of former President Park Chung-hee's death.
Thousands of the former president's supporters, including the chairman of the Grand National Party, Chung Mong-joon , gathered at the Seoul National Cemetery in remembrance of the late leader.
During the memorial address Park Geun-hye , the eldest daughter of the ex-president and former GNP leader said it was a heart-breaking experience to lose a father so suddenly.
Park was assassinated by the then head of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency on October 26, 1979.
