Hello, I'm Park Jisoo at the Arirang Weather Center. The weekend is finally here and I have your weather outlook to help you make plans for it.
Though we are in the middle of December, the temperatures don't look too bad. The entire nation will be cloudy over the next couple days, with the exception of Gangwon Province's Yeongdong region which will see some rain and/or snow start to fall Saturday night.
Both Seoul and Daegu's lows for tomorrow will be flat at zero, Gwangju will be one notch higher, and Busan will be much warmer with a low of 7 degrees.
Daejeon will also hover at zero for its low, whereas Jeju Island and Dokdo will have higher lows around 7 or 8. Way up on Mt. Geumgang, the mercury levels will drop to about minus 3 degrees.
Clouds in Tokyo will eventually turn into evening showers on Sunday. Nothing but sunshine for Beijing and the Middle East as for Manila, got some good news. The thunderstorms should be wrapping up early Saturday, making way for a storm free Sunday afternoon.
Port Moresby is back in the clear from the thunderstorms this weekend. Sydney's rain should end by tomorrow morning although Melbourne's showers will continue all throughout the weekend.
The rain in Vancouver will continue, topped off with some snow. Melbourne will see a drastic drop to minus 12 so be sure to stay warm. Sunny conditions for New York and Washington D.C. starting Saturday, unlike Los Angeles which will receive some showers.
Clouds for South America this weekendThe temperatures should remain stable in the mid 20s for most regions, despite the gray skies, with the exception of Santiago, which will be sunny.
Heading over to wet and gray conditions in London, Berlin, and Madrid for tomorrow. Got rain and or snow scheduled for Paris at a high of 3 degrees, and though Moscow should stay dry, it will dip as low as negative 6 for the weekend.
Slightly gray for AfricaSome clouds for Tripoli, Cairo, and Dakar in store while Algiers will have to deal with some showers over the weekend. As for Addis Ababa and Cape Town, got sunshine for the next couple of days.
And with that, have a fun and safe weekend. See you back here on Monday.
