Only a few months after Korea's resumption of US beef imports the country is found to be the largest market for American beef products in dollar terms.
A report by the US Department of Agriculture shows outbound shipments to Korea reached more than 89 million US dollars in September accounting for 28 percent of all US beef exports.
Looking at the total export amount so far this year Korea is the fourth largest destination after Mexico, Canada and Japan.
And given the surge of American beef in Korea its market share here is now the largest surpassing that of Australian beef imports.
