| Jeju Island Competes for Foreign Tourists |

|
These days, the arrival gate at Jeju International Airport is bustling with foreign tourists, especially Chinese.
As of the 28th of last month, the total number of foreign tourists to Jeju was around 509,000.
Of this figure, the number of Chinese visitors, called Gold Power due to China's massive population of 1.3 billion people, exceeded some 271,000, up by more than 83% from last year.
The number of Japanese tourists increased as well, by 8,000, compared to the same period last year.
